We had a surprise last minute squeeze in tonight, Rebecca Ferguson from this years X factor final is performing at the Koco in concert square. It was lovely to meet her and I tried to keep my cool and just treat her like a normal client, which was hard with Big Mare butting in every 2 seconds asking for autographs to give out!! She looked stunning and it was nice to give her the Peaches look that she told me she loves. Big Mare was eating her words when we found out that she’d told Rebecca we were full on the day of her first X factor audition! Hopefully we can make it up to her.

Alex Gerrard came into the salon for the first time and Polly did a great job of her flawless, natural makeup for tonight’s party hosted by Cricket at the Olive Press round the corner. After spotting my nude skull Tarina bracelet she went down to reception and bought three in different colours for herself
The shop was packed with all the Cricket regulars, and the Olive Press looked great all lit up as me and Nic walked past on our way home.

I’m made up we’re finally got the space for a real Christmas tree. Loving all the gorgeous deccies I’ve bought from Paperchase especially the skulls and the flamingos.

Monday mornings are no ones favourite, never mind when you’ve agreed to go and lie in a bed in a public place all in the name of art!
The Bed-In at the Bluecoat is a live art exhibition to celebrate John Lennon’s birthday and the anniversary of his assassination. Each day different artists and performers have taken over the bed recreating John and Yokos famous 1969 peace protest.
So when Rose, a crazy brummie who works at the bluecoat, approached us to take part in her slumber party the inner hippy in me said yes!
Anyway nursing a sore head from the weekend’s festivities we threw some rollers in, the smokes on and hit Primark for some pjs.
It’s always the way that whenever you dread something its never that bad. While me and Nic lounged round reading mags and drinking tea, Rose ran round interviewing passers by about Beauty! All of this by the way was being streamed live on the net. A very surreal, yet entertaining way to spend a Monday morning.
