We all got dressed up and walked to Chavasse Park this morning to watch Kate and Will tie the knot. It wasn’t long before Rose became the centre of attention!

After searching the net for some cake eyeliners, I found this amazing new collection by illamasqua. I ordered some new colours and called little Becky my skinjackin’ model in so I could practice. Loved doing the makeup and even managed to backcomb these cheap Chinese lashes I hate into something special.

One of the social highlights in the average Scouse girls’ calendar. The build up to the races at Aintree starts the first week in January, when girls desperate to beat the January blues call up wanting to book. As the demand has grown over the years we’ve created tickets fro appointments which go on sale 1st March. The phone rang off the hook for three hours and all the appointments had been sold by 11am!
The actual morning ran really smooth with the majority of clients toning it down compared to previous years.
Big Mare did the Peaches proud and recycled her outfit from Jack and Caths wedding while Nic got crafty and actually made her own dress which you would never believe from the photos. Me and Pol laughed as we waved her off down Dale Street, knowing she was only a few loose stitches away from a full moon!

Dax and his dad Jimmy rolled up at the shop with three new fish for us today, he’d even got us a neon castle and some colourful gravel. Nic has decided to call them Brucey and Jerry after the twins who owned our shop in the olden days. A few weeks ago a lady and her husband who were taking photos outside popped in to say hello. She explained that her dad Bruce and his twin Jerry used to own our shop and that it was an engravers. Stuck for a name for the third fish, we christened him Jimmy after Daxs dad.
