I was getting my fix of inspiration from Doe Deere’s ( the founder of Lime Crime cosmetics- a really cool American company) blog  last Friday and discovered Lynnderella and her amazing range of handmade glitter nail varnishes! Google Lynnderella the glittering crowd and you’ll see what I’m on about. A little late to this party , I’m just glad I’m finally aware of this phenonemon. Her homemade polishes sell out in seconds as soon as they get released on her blog so you can’t even buy them till she bring out a new one.

Transfixed by all the different mixtures of glitter the polish looks like mini galaxy’s on the end of your fingers, very appropriate considering that galaxy mania has recently hit the shop. To impatient to wait I made pol have a go at doing mine on our lunch on Saturday.  Eager to try out some more glitter combos I treated the girls to galaxy manicures today once they’d completed their chores.

If you wanna try this yourself ….

1. Paint your nails in a colour of your choice.

2. Mix together 3 of your favourite peaches glitters, plus 2 shades of chunkier craft glitter available from WH Smith.

3. Pour out a little clear nail varnish then sprinkle in your glitter mix to create a rough paste then apply 1 coat to your nails.

4. Finish with one coat of clear. Voila!

Ours were actually done using shellac so they are none chip, silky smooth and will probably last 2 weeks…. And guess what? If you fancy getting galactic we are offering appointments for them for £15  until Saturday! So if you fancy a treat for the weekend call the shop tomorrow on 0151 227 1669 , you can customise your glitter mix to create your very own galaxy as we have over 80 shades to choose from!!!!!

We had some fancy dress clients in at the weekend which lead to a Peaches interpretation of Elvis and The Queen of Hearts!

Soph is mine, Rosie and Kate’s younger cousin. On Saturday she came to get Peached for her leaving night out as she was flying to America this Monday for 5 months as part of her Uni Degree. She looked gorgeous as usual and we wish her all the luck in the world on her New York venture! We love you Soph!

Another busy week at Peaches this week, clients were treated some old school tunes such as Big Brovas, City High and a little tribute to Romeo Dunn – I could definitely see some secret So Solid lovers when 21 Seconds was blasted out at 6pm! There were a few birthdays this week as well as some fancy dress makeovers (which Little Katie will blog about in the next few hours!). The shop was buzzing as usual and here are just a few photos of my favourite makeovers of  the day!

Inspired by the galaxy leggings Rosie bought me last week I set the team a task of coming up with a galaxy makeover. However we’ve been unexpectedly busy with appointments, not to mention all that cavorting on the Peaches lawn yesterday for the NEW Mare Band phootshoot. So the blog has been postponed till next week.

With too many ideas to choose from Nic managed to do a little tester this morning on Rosie. Looking ever so like her Idol, I think this is actually something I could see Gaga wearing for lunch out with her friends.

Ladies the winter is finally drawing to a close and spring is round the corner. The shops are bringing out there new collections and colour is coming back into our lives! Lets step away from black and into the light. Pastel colours have arrived!

Inspired by H&M’s Versace Cruise collection, let us entice you into embracing pastels!!!

I’ve had such a hectic day at the shop, but can’t quite figure out what I’ve been up to ???? Firstly I directed an amazing ( even if I do say so myself) photo shoot of the girls donning the new bands me and mare made yesterday! I’m just really gutted I couldn’t get them online in time for tonight. That said have a browse through the pics and bagsy what one you want as I’m sure the first batch will sell out quick. They will all be available to buy online tommorrow.

Little Katie here again …. Well yesterday was my day off and it was my lovely auntie Karens birthday,  so me and all the girls in the family went out for lunch, it was only 1 in the afternoon but we ended up getting a few bottles of champagne which has lead to my inspiration for the day! I’ve come in and done our ‘Ladies that lunch Makeup’ but with a champane twist! In this makeup I’ve used Peaches Gems , Peaches Glitter , Peaches N0.9 Eye Lashes  and on my eyes I used four different pigments from MAC , melon , tan , chocolate brown and vanilla. I also used mulch eye shadow and carbon from MAC. This look is a natural day makeup but with a bit of glamour! and Sparkle! Hope you enjoy…. Little Katie xx
