We now stock extra large bun rings instore and online. If your a little unsure how to use these then watch this demo from ‘Queen of The Updo’ our very own Nicky Jayne!

What do you get the girl who has everything? If you’ve been racking your brains for ideas then stress no more… our Christmas Stock of Kawaii Nails has finally arrived and they are even cuter and cooler than ever before!

Kawaii means ‘cute’ in Japanese and thats exactly were they come from, handmade and all the way from the Harajuku district of Tokyo it took alot of late night googling to stumble accross a craze that I knew our Peaches fans would love! In true Harajuku fashion the nails come in a range of styles to suit every type of fashion tribe! From the girlier than girlie girls to the glamourous gothic rock chicks there is something to suit everyone.

Having been inspired by the harajuku fashion scene for years I am very excited for Peaches to be the first to import this craze into the UK. Worn by the likes of Gaga and Stefani these nails can’t be described they have to be seen… basically mini masterpieces for your nails. At £25.00 they are just the right price to buy for friends, they come in a range of sizes and are easy to stick on with regular nail glue (which we also sell), and aslong as you go easy with the glue they peel off when soaked in warm water so you can wear them time and time again!

Available to buy online and instore!

To launch the NEW beauty section of our online shop we are offering 20% Off the whole Fake Bake range ONLINE ONLY!  For those of you alittle unsure about the difference between the different products in the range,  heres a guide to help you decide the best way to get golden this Christmas.

So you’ve got the ‘ Original ‘ which is as it says on the box. The bestselling, easy to apply, non streak tan that gives you the classic Fake Bake tan they are famous for. It’s a thick lotion, and the dark colour makes it easy to apply so you know if you’ve missed any bits, unlike the colourless tans out there. It comes with gloves to apply, and for best results you apply it the night before you need your tan then wash it off in the morning to leave you glowing and golden. Everyones different, but for me the tan normally lasts  a couple of days and then is quite easy for you to scrub off once it starts to wear off.

Then there’s ‘ Extreme‘ for the tan-aholics when the ‘Original’ doesn’t quite satisfy your cravings. If the ‘Original’ is a week in Ibiza then ‘Extreme’ is 2 weeks in ‘Barbados’…. SOLD? So are we!!!  For best results mix ‘Extreme’ either with an oil-free moisteriser or the ‘Original’ lotion to give you longer application time as the gel consistancy dries quicker and requires a fake tan pro to get it on quick and even. Again, this tan is best to apply the night before and needs washing off in the morning.

‘Airbrush’ is perfect if you’ve left it last minute and need to apply it on the same day. It still requires an 8 hour developement time, however the orangey smell and golden colour make it alot more wearable for going about your day without people noticing your tanned up to the eyeballs, however it still reveals a lovely golden tan once its washed off.  The best selling feature of the ‘Airbrush’ is it’s application… once you’ve sprayed your tan on as quick and easy as a professional spray tan you’ll never look back! Airbrush is also great for correcting a patchy tan, and will save the day just intime for that big night out!

So thats the self-tans… then there’s the instant tans ‘Perfection‘ and ‘Shimmer‘. Instant tans in the past have had a bad reputation for going patchy, feeling sticky, rubbing off on your clothes or blotching when it rains. So Fake Bake have a launched a range without any of these problems….. why should you have to wear tights or brave it like a ghost when you decide to go out last minute? (After all they are the best nights!) ‘

‘Perfection’ is fast becoming ‘The Peaches’ favourite tan. On a friday night we’re too busy spray tanning half of Liverpool to do are own so ‘Perfection’ is the ‘perfect’ solution for a last minute quick fix tanning solution. The nozzle applicator makes it easy to spray and spread all over the body using the mitt provided in the box and it smells of the holiday you look like you’ve been on!!! Spray it on and your good to go… its as simple as that! And the best bit is you wash it off the following day and don’t have to go through the whole rigmarole of hiding your patchy wrists as your fake tan wears off.

‘Shimmer’ is like a refined version of  Rimmel Sun Shimmer ( every girls guilty favourite)! This tube of shimmery, golden brown gel is best for topping up your tan,  correcting a tan disaster or creating those shimmery legs you saw on Beyonce at Glastonbury! An essential product for everyones makeup bag, its even nice to wear  alone or mixed with foundation to give your face a sunkissed glow.

And finally you’ve got The Fake Bake Bronzing compact. A  silky, golden,  shimmery bronzing powder that will chisel your cheekbones and highlight your skin leaving you looking flawless and ready to party another Peaches Make Bag Must-have!

So stock up now while stocks last. Hopefully this Christmas is to be full of great nights out, planned and last minute, for us all!

The Glitters Have Landed! This week Peaches has been took over by the new glitter range named after the staff and most regular clients. Polly, Nicky and Katie all produced a statement Peaches Glitter Smoke makeup using their signature glitters. Lizzie created a ‘Rosie’ smoke on Kate in her training. Devon came in for a rasta inspired glitter makeup for the Wiz Khalifa concert where Kate used Lauren, Rosie and Devon yellow (coming soon!). Kate went on to whip out a rainbow masterpiece on Little Becky using ‘the Super 12‘, our top 12 glitters! The Salon is literally sparkling!

After my little ‘task’ to nip round to Kates flat to pick up the remaining new glitters from Kates flat , I really got the urge to showcase my photography skills and get involved with our amazing new website! After CAREFULLY putting all of the new glitters into their pots I thought it would be a good idea (/Kate suggested!) that I do a quick step be step guide for all of the girls who want to know how we do our famous ‘glitter smokes’. I used Little Katie as a model and quickly mustered up a smokey eye which would be suitable for a display of one or more of our gorgeous glitters. Using our new fixing gel (available to buy from the shop) , I carefully put the glue across Katies lid where I wanted the glitter to be. Using a suitable brush I placed the glitter across the lid and patted the glitter on, going back to the glitter pot a few times to get her eyes as sparkley as possible. The glitters I chose to use today where the ones named ‘Kate’ and ‘Nicky’ , so I knew this eye make up would stand out with those to big names in it! I wiped away the excess glitter and put a few finishing touches to Katies eye liner. I finished off Katies make up by giving her a fresh base, using colours to compliment the glitters a chose. I think the photos speak for themselves, the new glitters look amazing!! Easy to do and definately a look which stands out from the crowd. Get on it girls!

The Shop always looks a little sad when we have to pack the remaining flowery  marebands away at the end of summer.

Missing her menapausal mareband making at 4am in the morning, Mare has been inspired to make a winter range of pom pom Marebands.

However, we must introduce Sarah, our Rosie’s best mate, who makes the pom poms for Mare. Shes turned her living room into a Peach Pom pom sweatshop and with the help of her mum Liz they bond over pom pom making whilst they watch the soaps. Check them out on the online shop!

Prompted by Nic, Scratchys moved onto shoes. Whoever thought a £15 per of wedges from St.John market could look so good!

Finally the new glitters have arrived for our trademark glitter smokes so that we can custom mix the shade of glitter to match your dress! They will be amazing to mix with shellac too for matching nails and eyes!

Just got back from the Greek island of Mykonos! Had such an amazing break, anyway I always look forward to getting back, and finding out whats happened without me at the shop. On walking in this morning the jewellery cabinet is full of the most amazing stuff from Nic’s friend Sarah who runs www.phestival.com an online festival boutique. I cant decide what colour bracelet I want yet but Mum got the orange and red one for Cath my sister in law because Beyonce wore it at Glastonbury!

Inspired by the cute Tarina Tarantino charm bracelet that everyone was fighting over last year when I opened the shop, I have decided to make my own version for this summer. Mum as has always said that I’m happiest when I’m making and she’s right! Much to Dax’s frustration my coffee table is covered in trinkets and I’m looking forward to making more tonight infront of the telly!
