At long last my head from the hall of fame is now finished!! I was unable to finish mine last week as I was busy with appointments.. its hard being the octopus of the group who can do all of the treatments in the shop! Originally I planned to do Nicki Minaj (my fave) but someone mentioned that we needed an Avatar rebirth after the attention it drew on Halloween’s Peaches and Scream. There is now an Avatar that has been Peached sitting with the other heads on top of our displays.. what do you all think … ?!

Little Katie And PollyWin here! … Right girls this weeks blog is of course about TOWIE! Everyone has been going nuts this week about TOWIE because its back and on our screens , also the girls all went to the NTA’s last week! An they all looked fabulous! especially Lydia Rose Bright and Lucy Mecklenburgh , so because me and Polly are glued to TOWIE we thought why not reincarnate there makeups? So we have picked our Favorite blonde and brunette , mine is of course the beautiful and fashionable Lydia Rose Bright and Polly’s was the stunning , gorgeous Lucy . So I have picked Lydia Makeup from her birthday meal , she is so elegant rocking her natural porsalin skin , I on the other hand have the darkest foundation we use in the shop so this was a very dramatic change for me! I used Two sets of Peaches And Cream lashes and Bright red lips , At the end of the makeup I loved it and Lydia’s red lips and pin curled hair has definately made me want to Rock the natural Essex look!!
Like Little Katie said, everybody has been talking about Towie this week! I have heard mixed reviews on both the show and the cast members make up. But its clear to see they are going all out in the hair and make up department this series. I think the newest craze on the show this week has been battle of the blonde and brunette with their use of red lipstick. For the blog this week I thought i’d have a go at Lucy’s grey smokes and red lippy look (mainly because I have the same tartan dress she had one this episode!). A lot of clients get put off using red lipstick, but I feel with the right smudgey smokey eye make up, red can really compliment a persons flawless base, and be a really eye catching part of a girls make up!! Both me and Little Katie felt really in character with our new looks!!

Baby Peach’s Hair up’s have become famous accross town! After much demand she has finally put together some hair lessons to teach you the secrets of 2 of her well known styles, The Ferrero Rocher (1st Gallery Image) and The Eva Longoria (3rd Gallery Image).
To learn The Eva Longoria costs £40. This style is great for all special occasions, inparticular for people who aren’t uset to wearing their hair up. It’s also fairly easy to do on yourself. The demonstration lasts 1 hour 30 mins, with an extra 30 mins for questions and answers were Nic can give you as much advice as possible. You also get a photographic step by step handout to take away. ( Please note that unlike the makeup lessons you DONT get to participate and do the hair up on yourself or a model).

Soph is mine, Rosie and Kate’s younger cousin. On Saturday she came to get Peached for her leaving night out as she was flying to America this Monday for 5 months as part of her Uni Degree. She looked gorgeous as usual and we wish her all the luck in the world on her New York venture! We love you Soph!

Another busy week at Peaches this week, clients were treated some old school tunes such as Big Brovas, City High and a little tribute to Romeo Dunn – I could definitely see some secret So Solid lovers when 21 Seconds was blasted out at 6pm! There were a few birthdays this week as well as some fancy dress makeovers (which Little Katie will blog about in the next few hours!). The shop was buzzing as usual and here are just a few photos of my favourite makeovers of the day!

As the title suggests I feel like I’ve been on holiday in Barbados this
morning at the salon.
Everyone knows how much I love my patterns, so this week when I went shopping for bits to make some new marebands I couldn’t resist this crazy African fabric. Inspired by Peaches favourite style icon ‘Rihanna’ me and Mare have created a range of Caribbean style beach bows that come in a range of sizes either on bands or slides. They are now available to buy instore or online for £10.
Now asking The Peaches who wants to get dressed up as Rhianna for a mareband photoshoot tommorrow, is a no brainer!!! After careful styling their hair by wrapping it round a screw driver and applying the straighteners to it (please don’t try at home) I had three Rih Rih wannabe’s at my disposal at this mornings photo shoot!
Forgeting the cold, grey weather my brave models got stripped down and ready to strike a pose ( with the help of Little Katie who revealed her self to be as flexible as Andrew Stone- well nearly!).
