Hiii everyone it's Bec :)
Im excited to be writing my very first blog and it's all about Illamasqua's speckled egg nail collection! I have a slight obsession with anything that involves nails so Kate delegated this to me as I am the nail queen! I had six colours to try, Raindrops is a gorgeous grey colour with a slight sparkle in it when it catches the light, this is the only one in the collection that doesn't have the speckled egg effect. The other five which have are: Fragile which is a baby blue varnish, Mottle is pale green, Speckle is lilac, Freckle is a coffee brown colour and Scarce is baby pink and they all each have small black dots in them making the speckled egg effect. This collection is all about imperfection and seeing beauty in things that are not perfect. I have to say I am loving them all! My favourite colour would probably have to be Mottle (pale green). They are so easy to apply and you only need two coats to get them looking fab! I also love how easy it is to remove, I did think it might of took me a while to remove with there being dots in the varnish and from past experience removing similar nail varnish took me ages and nearly used a whole bottle of remover whereas with the Illamasqua collection it was simple and no mess! I also had a go at creating an ombré effect with two colours, Mottle and Fragile which is pale green and baby blue these two colours looked gorgeous together and it's very easy to do as the black dots in the varnish help blend the colours together! If you love your nail varnish you need these in your life! They are a definite must to have in my nail collection! Here are some pictures of all the colours! Hope you like!!!!
