21 March 13.
Lately I haven't had much time to blog because there is so much in the pipeline! Firstly, the March half price makeup lesson offer has been fully booked every day which is great for the shop, me and the other girls but leaves us with no time to play dress up! Secondly, me and Rosie are in the process of rebranding and repackaging our pigment range which may explain to some of you why they are either ' sold out' or 'coming soon' on the online shop... be patient though because what we have in store for you all is definitely worth the wait. Without giving too much away prepare yourselves to be spoilt for choice with at least 10 new gorgeous shades being added to the range! Thirdly we are preparing to participate in this years Brazilica Festival on July 2oth.... which again I can't give too much away about at the moment. Finally I also have a new Peaches University handbook to photograph and design! All in all you could say I've got my hands in a lot of pies!
So I thought I'd do a little sum up of what's been happening at the shop this week to provide our Peaches addicts with their weekly fix!
Today I'm looking bright and summery in one of my vintage buys from www.etsy.com. I've matched up with some green Sugarpill eyeshadows and a bright pink Illamasqua lippy courtesy of Rose Gallagher!
The main talk on the shop floor is Herbal Life! Nic, Kharyce and Little Katie have been to our friends at Fuel Shakes on Renshaw street to stock up on shakes to help get them in shape for summer. So far they are 1 day in, Kharyce is going strong, Little Katie is talking the talk... and Nic... well lets just say she's missing her hourly trips to see Mo in the sweet shop next door!
Rosie has gone to Venice today so me and Kharyce have taken over her post duties for the online shop. This week our best sellers are still the Pink 13 piece brush sets, Minnie Mouse Iphone 5 cases and the 3D cute nail charms. New in store we have kids Easter Bunny Geek Glasses as well as new summer colours in the Hello Kitty Geek glasses. Rosie also made up some Easter bundles before she left. They are £10 each and contain 2 chocolate eggs from Sainsburys as well as 3 sets of lashes in a cute easter basket! Chocolate & Lashes... every girls best friends.
I mentioned above the pink brush sets.... you may have seen them on our Facebook page and had to look twice at the price! They are the ultimate Peaches bargain at just £15 for a 13 piece set. Not only do they look gorgeous ( Pink handles as well as pink tipped bristles) but the set contains a great range of eyeshadow brushes as well as a powder and blusher brush. They make a great home set or would be a good addition to a makeup artists kit... you can never really have too many brushes! As well as the pink sets we are also selling Purple 9 piece sets at £35 and Black Pro 12 piece sets for £45. These sets are more expensive as the brush bristles and handles are much better quality... they also contain foundation brushes and come with holders. For me the black set is a definite must have for the black leather style holders alone which button together to double as a handy brush carrier. The black set also contains a pencil brush, a fluffy blending brush and an angled brow brush all of which are pretty identical to the Mac and Crown versions. To get an idea of what a bargain this is a fluffy blending brush in Mac would set you back £24 for one brush! All of these sets are now available to buy online so take a look.
Mare has had to give the Marebows a break. She's got a lump on her wrist from all the sewing so has had to swap to making her original flowery Marebands. They sell for £10 and our currently available to buy instore. Even though its freezing ( my dad said snow is predicted for tonight) a Mareband purchase is always guaranteed to get you feeling summery!
Little Bec has been in this morning for nail training with Nic... together they are putting together a few special offers for our Beauty Lounge downstairs Flamingo Island. So keeping checking our Facebook page to find out when these are released.
As well as the makeup lessons being a massive hit through the week the Bridal season is also starting to kick off. This morning Nic has got one of our lovely Brides to be Sarah in for her hair and makeup trials. If you or a friend are getting married this year and haven't yet sorted your hair and makeup give Catherine our lovely receptionist a call on 0151 227 1669 to arrange a free consultation were she will go through all our different packages for you!
Finally I can also report that we are stocking a wide range of Eldora strip eyelashes to tide us over until the next Peaches eyelash delivery later this month. They cost £4.50 a pack but come with a small tube of lash glue.
Although a little small and dull in comparison to previous blog posts I hope this has satisfied your Peaches cravings for another week at least.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
