Summer is finally here and Peaches are loving the heat! Time to pack away all our jumpers and coats, for a new summery wardrobe. So why not do the same with our makeup? Its time to shake up our wintery routine, for something a little bit lighter and brighter! So get your heavy matte foundations and dark eyeshadows packed away with the jumpers and lets freshen up our faces! Our recent inspiration for this natural look comes from the latest red carpet event, Cannes Film Festival. We were absolutely adoring the gorgeous glowing faces of Bella Hadid and Blake Lively, who have ditched the smokey eye for a fresh dewy look with a touch of glam!
To create this dreamy dewy Cannes look, I started with the brows. Using Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Medium Brown. I gently brushed through the hairs using the dip brow to add colour but still keeping the shape natural. I then used Milani brow gel to keep the hairs in place for a glossy natural look.
To create the dewy base, I started with Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow. If you have tired, dull or dehydrated skin, this is the product for you! It gives the skin an instant glow, with anti ageing and collagen boosting ingredients. The product itself is silky smooth and feels weightless and soft on the face. After applying this all over the face, I used a Peaches fave for the foundation - YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat. We are loving this foundation for summer with its weightless feel on the skin and light reflecting formula! Using a foundation brush, it glides on with a gorgeous glowing finish. The skin looks fresh, bright and healthy creating a flawless base.
Next we used the Peaches & Cream Contour Kit, which includes Cream Contour, Sculpting Powder and Halo Highlight! All this for only £20, so theres no need to break the budget before your summer holiday. I gently brushed the cream contour onto the cheeks. This product is super easy to use with its sheer and luminous texture. I then used NARS Hot Sand Illuminator to highlight the cheek bones! This shimmery liquid, enhances the foundations glow to give a natural fresh look. I then set the face with Peaches Halo Highlighter, lightly brushing all over the face to set and enhance the gorgeous glow I’d created. This highlighter has a subtle shimmer perfect for highlighting the cheeks but can also be used for face and eyes for a fresh daytime look! Then to enhance the definition created by the Cream Contour I added a sweep of Peaches sculpting powder under the cheekbones, around the edges of the forehead, along the jawline and to the sides of the nose. Instead of blusher I finished off the face using Peaches Bronzing Powder in Medium/Dark to add a soft bronzed glow to the cheeks.
Don’t put away your Peaches Compacts yet, because we used them for the eyes also! Using Halo, I highlighted the brow bone and tear duct, smudging the product into the areas to naturally brighten the eye!I then applied a wash of Peaches Sculpting across the socket and under the lower lash line. I then completed the look with MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara, Peaches 10mm Individual Lashes (which are £1 in our sale!), a natural lip liner and Peaches Bambi Lipgloss!
Due to the success of this look and how gorgeous it looked we’ve created a Fresh Face bundle available to buy online and in store for just £27.50. The bundle contains Halo Pressed Highlighter, Sculpting Powder, Cream Contour, Med/Dark Bronzer and Bambi Lipgloss RRP £6.95.
